There are no limits to what this tahini dressing goes with. We’ve been eating a lot of grain bowls lately and they almost always get topped off with this dressing. It’s so simple to whip up and adds tons of flavor! Here’s the mix:
- 2 tablespoons good quality tahini (only ingredients should be sesame seeds)
- 1 tablespoon EVOO
- Juice of 1 lemon
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- water – about 1/4 cup, maybe more or less depending on preferred thickness
Add all the ingredients (except the water) to a bowl or mixing jug. Stir together vigorously with a spoon. Start adding the water a little bit at a time. If you want the dressing super thick and more like a dip you’ll want to add less water. If you want a thinner dressing add more water.
The amount depends on how runny the tahini is and can differ so I usually add water slowly until it’s perfect. If you accidentally add to much water add some extra tahini to balance it out 🙂
